Group Ride Volunteer Requirements
Ride Leader or Sweep?
Ride Leaders are responsible for leading a group of 6-8 kids on rides each week and teaching them basic mountain bike skills.
Sweeps assist ride leaders but are not expected to teach the group. They support the ride leader by demonstrating proper technique, riding last or sometimes first, chatting with the kids, and supporting a fun, positive environment.
