Whether you're someone with a phone and a great idea, an aspiring photographer, or an experienced filmmaker, this is your chance to bring your vision to life. So get out there. Explore a new trail. Stay out until the light is perfect. Film one more lap. Capture the moments that make mountain biking our favorite sport. And most importantly, have some fun while you're at it, eh?
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3rd, the 16th Annual Shoot the Trails Awards is right around the corner. Tickets on sale early September!
VIDEO SUBMISSION DETAILS
VIDEO SUBMISSION - DUE BY SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2026

Each videographer may submit 1 video.

Videos are limited to 3 minutes in length. The following video formats are recommended; avi, mpeg/mpeg-4, mov/quicktime, wmv. However, most downloadable video formats will be accepted. If your video has speaking in it, please include large captions at the top of the video. We cannot guarantee sound quality.

When your video is ready, please upload to Google drive or to a cloud drive and email us the link.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEOS
Email the following information to shootthetrails@wmbcmtb.org by September 28th, 2026
Subject Line : Video Title
Email must include:
-Video Title
-Video File Name
-Videographer
-Rider(s)
-Location (optional)
-Are you 18 or older?
-Contact information : Name, Phone, Email. We may need to contact you if we have problems with your video. If you have questions regarding the language in your song choice, please refer to the FCC guidelines.
PHOTO SUBMISSION DETAILS
PHOTO SUBMISSION - DUE BY SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2026
Photo submissions and voting are returning to in-person only. We will display your photo(s) gallery style at the event. By submitting a photo or video to WMBC for the Shoot The Trails Awards, you consent to WMBC using it in promotional materials with credit.

Each photographer may submit 1 photo. You must provide a framed print of the photo at the event. FRAME HEIGHT CANNOT BE MORE THAN 18" MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE!

Bring your print to the Fisherman’s Pavilion between 10 AM and noon on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026.

You must pick your print up by the end of the event or we will display them in our office as art.

Email your photo and the following information to shootthetrails@wmbcmtb.org by September 28th, 2026. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your photo was not submitted and you need to follow up.
