Julie Goeman

Julie moved to Bellingham in 2009 to study Geology at WWU and never left. Her first mountain bike ride was up and down the Ridge trail on Galbraith in 2015; and while she cursed this sport the entire climb up the hill, she was completely hooked the second her tires were pointing back down it.

Julie has been in the Natural Resources field since 2013 and has been building trails professionally and in her free time for over a decade. She often cannot decide whether she loves riding or digging more but is very grateful to be part of the WMBC community where she can do both. Julie is a ride leader for the JoyRiders program and continues to do volunteer trail work for the WMBC. She no longer detests riding her bike uphill.
